liked your artwork, showed creativity and new ideas. however was upset with the way women were portrayed in your work, especially in Sloth and the mary/jesus/etc paintings. you say you were raised in a cult that discriminated/prostituted women, how could you ever decide that it was okay as soon as you left to still depict this sort of imagery? women just don't decide that yeah its awesome to prostitute my body for money because thats the only way...

The stuff yo make sucks I am refuse to call it "ART" because that would mean it had some kind of value. It sucks almost as much as you do and that is saying a lot. You have no idea what art is you are a sad little person. I looked at some of your paintings and what you said about them. You are a total moron.

Your one fucked up kid man. You state 'no disrespect' but that doesnt make your 'work' acceptable. Its downright rude and shows you obviously require some sort of psychiatric help as soon as possible as to put it lightly you are fucked up. Get some help seriously. Rot in hell you bastard.

I LIKE YOUR WORK MAN , IT SHOWS THE CRUDE AND RAW REALITY THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE PUBLIC IGNORES TO SEE. I HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD TIME LAST NIGHT AT THE SHOW . HOPEFULLY ONE OF THESE WE GET TO SIT DOWN AND HAVE A CIGAR TO SPEAK MORE COMFORTABLY.

Hey Kim, guess what?

1) You clearly cannot articulate *anything*
2) The painting is about the ugliness of WHITE PRIDE
3) James is not Latino or Brown or any other form of race you think you need to identify. He was born in the Canary Islands.

You get three "F"s. Go teach another class.

I find your understanding of pride very misplaced when it comes to the historical implications of colonialism and its institutions. You have juxtaposed your colonial assimilated view of race on your image, calling it pride, when in fact it really displays your unfortunate self hate and your pride of race, not Obama's. To assert that perception of race is what is being crucified is your attempt to further escape your fears of emasculation (the Black Male Icon); and to project your desire (vis a vie the image) to connect with the larger dominant white colonial colonized view of race as it pertains to its institutions. The image, which is widely circulated on many racists websites, shows Obama seemingly "prideful" and is stated as such. This is an interesting choice for a Latino male who is light but not passing as white. Understandably, you naively believe you are depicting just Obama's pride. What is telling is your choice of photograph, the clan in the background, and your abject abandon to the institutions that have created the structure of this society in how resources are allocated and accessed. If we are to think about this painting critically then we must look into the mind of the painter. What is your background? Where are you from? Are you wealthy? Poor? Where were you educated? To you seek white women, white men? Do you find Black people or Black Latino's repulsive? Do you read any to push you out of your delusions of self hate? Have you read anything like Frantz Fanon's the Wretched of the Earth or the Colonized and the Colonizer? Do you understand why you consider your own delusion as free from racial pride when in fact you are displaying White Latino pride with your disturbing image? Do you understand why you seek a color blind society (as if there can be one)? Or , rather simply, why you used race here as opposed to "anything" else for pride....(??) when you clearly cannot articulate a discussion of race in its historical and contextual reality for African Americans, Latinos, etc. as evidenced by your rather limited and petulant response here and on the news channel.

Nice artwork Jamie.....but I get a little hint of a personal perception in your explanation of your subjects, which is surely okay, but may vary some from the mainstream thought process. You're really a talented guy......but we always knew that. Congratulations on a great website !!
